There are four interconnected quadrants in The ASCA National Model: Foundation, Delivery, Management System, and Accountability.
These four quadrants of the ASCA National Model are the building blocks for school counselors to follow in developing counseling programs that ensure academic achievement, personal/social skill development, and career development for all students.
School counselors create comprehensive school counseling programs that focus on student outcomes, teach student competencies and are delivered with identified professional competencies.

The 11th Grade Presentation focused on preparing our 11th grade students for college. We talked about the importance of college college requirements, A - G requirements, SAT / ACT, registration, how to make the most of 11th grade, and how to use Naviance.
The School Counseling Core Curriculum Action Plan. This curriculum consists of structured lessons designed to help all 11th grade students attain the desired competencies and to provide all students with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills appropriate.
The 11th Grade Pre-Post Test was created to see if the 11th grade students attained the knowledge, attitudes and skills to use Naviance and to understand the A - G requirements.
The School Counseling Core Curriculum Results Report analyzes the reports highlighted in the School Counseling Core Curriculum Action Plan. The analysis of the results report demonstrates the effectiveness of the presentation, and informs us of strengths and improvements.
Taught classroom lessons at elementary, middle, and high schools on a variety of topics
Ran groups at the elementary, middle and high school level
Consulted with parents and students to create class schedules while registering students for high school
Met with individual high school students failing one more classes to offer support and create a plan to increase academic success
Met with over 100 students for more than one session of individual counseling
Provided counseling check-ins with students
Referred students to after school academic support programs
Consulted with teachers & administrators on ways to best meet the needs of students academically & social/emotionally
Collaborated with school psychologist, community resources, and speech pathologist on social skills group
School counselors incorporate organizational assessments and tools that are concrete, clearly delineated and reflective of the school’s needs.

A copy of the California Healthy Kids Survey Data Presentation for Helix Charter High School's school counseling program. We used school climate data to promote systemic change within the school system so every student feels safe in school.
The Closing the Gap Action Plan focuses on the success of students and successful school policies and practices to best meet students' needs. For Helix Charter High School, we noticed there was a larger percentage of Filipin@ students dropping out. We created an action plan to decrease the drop out rate.
This component is designed to help school counselors analyze data collected from other sections of the ASCA National Model.
